Check out the filesWith the declining state of the Great Barrier Reef, the project aims to inform viewers of the reasons behind the coral deterioration and the role the viewer, themselves, play in the process. As such, encouraging them to act in ways that contribute to "saving the reef".
By using the vector art style for this project, the shapes and solid colours of vector artwork create a simple and cohesive design and can also appeals to a broader spectrum of ages.

The standout aspect of this design timescape is the coral piece at its center, strategically designed to highlight the process of coral bleaching or deterioration, that contrasts with the vibrant corals near it.

An adjustment that was made to the artwork was the text font styles. Originally, texts that corresponded to areas where coral bleaching were involved, the text mirrored this "bleaching", being white with black outlines. However, it was found that this hindered readability and caused an imbalance in typography. As a result, these texts were turned to solid black and prioritised readability over a creative expression.
